The relationship between Essex girl Ashleigh and fitness fanatic Luke has been the talk of this series, and tonight was no exception. Following an argument with Luke, housemate Deana branded his relationship with Ashleigh as “fake”, and showed a completely different side to her usual timid personality.
Despite being in the house for less than a month, Luke and Ashleigh are now officially boyfriend and girlfriend. Tonight’s episode saw the personal trainer treat the Essex Girl to a romantic picnic in the garden, complete with homemade roses. The couple looked blissfully happy, and Ashleigh told Luke “you’re gorgeous”.
Not all housemates were quite as happy as the lovebirds though. Deana and Luke later got into an argument in the bedroom after the model admitted that she would rather have money than an amazing wedding. Deana didn’t see what all the fuss was about and told Luke that he was making her out to be “a money grabber”.
In a rage, Deana marched into the garden to fill the other housemates in on the argument, and brought up Luke and Ashleigh’s relationship. Branding it as “a blatant fake relationship on national television”, she didn’t show any signs of calming down.
Eavesdropping from the bedroom, Becky, Conor and Caroline had got wind of the situation and automatically began to question Scott when he returned from the discussion. Ashleigh looked shocked and instantly told Luke about the situation: “I think she called our relationship fake”.
Trying to retaliate, Luke stormed into the garden to confront Deana. Showing no remorse, she told Luke “having a fake relationship on national television is disgusting”. Appalled, Luke simply replied with a “we’ll see, Deana”.
Following Deana’s revelations, it came to light that she wasn’t the only housemate who thought that the relationship was fake. Lauren told Big Brother “I hope to God it’s genuine. I hope we’re all wrong”.
