Another Friday, another housemate booted out of the Big Brother House. This week saw Lydia Louisa become the fourth housemate to leave Big Brother.
Deana beat the professional dancer in tonight’s public vote. The pair used to be friends however the friendship has deteriorated over the past 2 weeks.
Throughout the episode, anytime Lydia was mentioned the booing was deafening. So it was no surprise that Lydia’s name was announced as the fourth evictee. Lydia smiled when her name was called and said she was “excited to see him,” referring to her fiancée, Andy Scott-Lee.
She hugged all the housemates and told them all to be “strong and have a good time.” She also congratulated Deana, whilst Becky led three cheers for Lydia.
On leaving the house, the loud boos continued and Lydia seemed to be forcing her smile through her walk-down.
Earlier in the episode Lydia was seen telling Luke A that she wanted to stay whilst Luke A said he would miss her if she went. In the diary room, Lydia said she should stay because she contributes to the group tasks whilst Deana has failed tasks and spends a lot of time “moping around.”
Also in the diary room, Deana said she should stay because she was more “honest and fun and Lydia can’t take a joke.” Deana, however, was also seen telling housemates in the kitchen that her cup was “half-empty,” hinting she wasn’t confident about the eviction. Shievonne told Deana to remember that she made it into the Big Brother house whilst Ashleigh pointed out that was an achievement in itself.
Will the house change now Lydia has gone? Will you miss her scheming and planning?
