For this week’s shopping task in the Big Brother house, housemates had to take part in various horrible tasks in an attempt to earn 100 points and a luxury shopping budget.
Firstly, the group had to give up a selection of their possessions and place them on a seesaw style scale. If the items weighed more than the weight on the other end, the house would earn 10 points.
With Arron bragging that he had a whole bag “full of products” that he hadn’t even used, they managed to easily pass this leg of the task and earn 10 points. The second part of the task saw all of the smokers donate their cigarettes, tobacco, filters and lighters.
Arron then had to decide whether to cut them up and earn points for the house or leave them and get nothing. The housemates had to remain in silence, but the looks on their faces said it all.
As Arron picked up the scissors and began cutting up the cigarettes, the smoker’s faces dropped. Taking cigarettes off a smoker? Brave move, Arron! After having her supply of tobacco taken off her, Lauren was not happy.
Talking about Arron to Lydia, she told her: “I just want to rip his photos up”.
Lauren threw a massive strop and showed off her world record martial arts skills by punching and kicking the life out of her pillow. Surely things couldn’t get any worse for her?
This is Big Brother, of course they could. Introducing ‘The Room of Temptation’, housemates were faced with items or people that they had to refrain from interacting with. Lauren was the first housemate called into the diary room, and was told to go to the task room where she was greeted by her sister.
She had to decide whether to sit down and spend time with her sister and lose points for the house, or leave the room without speaking to her and gain points. It was obvious how upset Lauren was, as she instantly burst into tears and walked out of the task room.
The look of disappointment on her sister’s face was evident. Luke A also had to face the room of temptation and had to try and ignore a phone call from his wife. Pushing his head into the pillow, Luke managed to ignore the call and just had to listen to his wife on the answerphone.
The results of the task will be announced tomorrow. What do you think of the task?
