The Glastonbury festival and promoters Festival Republic have ended their partnership after more than ten years, it has been confirmed.
Festival Republic, led by Melvin Benn, organisers other major festivals including Reading and Leeds and has been co-organiser of Glastonbury since 2001.
Benn said Glastonbury boss Michael Eavis and himself agreed it was the right time to "go their separate ways".
Tickets for this year's Glastonbury Festival 2013 will go on sale in October, it has been announced.
The public can purchase tickets at 9am on Sunday, October 7. Anyone wishing to buy tickets will need to register in advance in order to be able to obtain their ticket.
This has been successful in past years in combating ticket touts.
Every person who wishes to attend must register for tickets by filling in their details and providing a photo.
Prices of tickets are expected to be announced by the end of the summer. Organiser Michael Eavis confirmed earlier this year that he had booked the headliners for next year's festival.
Rumoured headliners The Rolling Stones this week denied that they would be performing at the festival.
