Their new musical hasn't even hit the stage yet, but the Spice Girls are already plotting who'll play themselves when and if the show gets made into a movie.
The girls nominated Angelina Jolie as the choice to play Victoria Beckham, whilst Mel B would be played by Zoe Saldana and Mel C by Courtney Cox. According to The Metro, the girls want Cameron Diaz to play Geri and Kate Hudson to take on the role as Baby Spice Emma Bunton.
No doubt they are eyeing movie musicals like 'Rock Of Ages' and 'Mama Mia', which have taken shows based on the work of popular artists and turned them into sing-a-long films. However there may be less appetite for a movie version of their musical after 'Rock Of Ages' disappointed critically and at the box-office.
According to the paper though the girls were very optimistic about the prospect of a Viva Forever film hitting the big screen, with Victoria saying: "That would be great. I think we'll see how it goes. but it would be great."
A movie version would have one positive; it might erase any memories of the girls' lamentable 1998 film 'Spice World', which has become something of a cult classic despite being widely regarded as spectacularly dreadful by critics.
