'Twilight' star Kristen Stewart has admitted that she was bullied in school for her tomboy appearance, wearing boys clothes and not shaving her legs.
The actress is known for her laidback style, even wearing converse on the red carpet but it seems she was even worse as a teenager and claims that she was “a boy” before she turned 15.
"I hated school so much. Look at a picture of me before I was 15. I am a boy. I wore my brother's clothes, dude!” she told The Sun.
It wasn’t just her clothes that were a problem it seems personal hygiene was another source of teasing for the ‘Snow White and the Huntsman’ star.
"I remember this girl in sixth grade looked at me in gym and was like: 'Oh my god! That's disgusting - you don't shave your legs!'"
The actress, who was recently named the most fashionable star on the planet claimed she “didn’t even think” about fashion when she was younger.
“I remember being made fun of, because I wasn't wearing designer Juicy Couture jeans,” she revealed. "I didn't even think about it. I wore my gym clothes.”
While the brunette might appear unfazed by criticism over her look, she confessed that being bullied really affected her.
“But it's not like I didn't care that they made fun of me. It really bothered me.” She added.
We think Kristen had the last laugh. Not only has her unique style won her praise from the fashion world with designers desperate to dress her, she managed to bag the hottest star on the planet Robert Pattinson.
Not bad for someone with hairy legs who wears their brother’s clothes!
