Most of us would kill to knock a few years off our appearance, Andrew Garield however apparently thinks that his own youthful looks are a curse. Despite them being responsible for him winning the role of Spider-Man, his biggest part to date and meeting his current girlfriend Emma Stone while filming the movie.
The film, which hits screens next month forced the 28-year-old star to delve into his past to play the part of a teenage superhero 11 years younger than his actual age.
According to Contactmusic.com Garfield said: "I was hoping I could be believable and I worked very hard to bring up all the feelings I had when I was 17, which are horrible feelings to deal with."
He added: "But I do look young and that's a blessing and a curse, too, so it's up to people to decide whether they want to believe it or not, but I believed and felt like a kid. And that was tough."
Garfield may be cursing the fact that directors have been casting him several years younger than his actual age at the moment, but we bet he'll be thankful for his baby-faced charm when he gets to 40!
