Jack Osbourne has revealed that a production company pulled the plug on hiring him for a TV job because of his Multiple Sclerosis.

The father-of-one was "offended" when bosses informed him indirectly of their decision via managers and agents.

Joining mother Sharon Osbourne on her show The Talk, he remained upbeat about his diagnosis but said the rejection stung him particularly hard.

"I had booked a job, right when I got diagnosed, and the company didn't think I could actually perform the job," he recalled.

"Out of everything, that's what has really ticked me off the most because it's like, 'Don't tell me what I can and cannot do'. At no point did they call me. It was all through agents and lawyers - I was offended by it."

Sharon added sarcastically: "It was a really nice email."

Although neither mother nor son revealed the name of the guilty show, The Sun has alleged that it was NBC's Stars Earn Stripes - a reality series that sees celebrities put their paces by soldiers in the military.

An insider told the tabloid that they "didn't think Jack was up to the challenges", but denied that they axed him via email.
