Today is a very special day for everyone's favourite friendly vampire, Edward Cullen, as despite being a teenage sex symbol he's turning 111!
Though he doesn't look a day over 17, vampirehood is the best skin care regime we've come across yet, he's now getting old, but that won't stop Twilight fans across the globe celebrating the anniversary of his birth, especially as a new trailer has been released for 'Twilight: Breaking Dawn: Part 2'.
It's been quite a year for Edward too, what with marrying his sweetheart bella (Kristen Stewart), getting her pregnant and trying to protect his new family from the perils of vampire life. Oh and he's inspired a raunchy set of Sado-Masochistic novels.
But just what do you get a 111-year-old vampire? A newspaper commemorating the day he was born? Or some baby stuff for new arrival Renesmee? The cost in candles alone is sure to put a dent in anyone's finances.
Yet Edward can hardly rest, as he's got to prepare to take on the evil Volturi in the series' latest installment this autumn. However just for one day, we hope Mr Cullen can put his fangs up and relax. Happy Birthday Edward, and many happy returns!
