Princess Beatrice was joined by cheering crowds as she welcomed the Olympic torch in Leeds today.

With just a month to go until the big event, the young royal carried the flame into the city's Harewood House, before it moved on to York and was taken around the city's walls.

There was a great atmosphere as fundraiser Janet Baker made sure the flame got the royal touch. Beatrice smiled and high fived members of the public outside the Grade 1 historic building as they cheered and waved.

Sporty Beatrice has already shown her passion for the 2012 games – back in March, she powered her way round a race in the Olympic Park.

Other members of the Windsor clan are equally involved. Her cousins Princes William and Harry, alongside the Duchess of Cambridge, will be watching when torchbearers carry the Olympic Flame through Buckingham Palace on July 26.

All of them will be cheering on Zara Phillips, who will be taking part in the Games as part of the Equestrian Team.

Have you made an effort to see the flame in your home town?
