The One Direction boys have cooked up a rather odd ritual to get themselves pumped up before going on stage.
The boys, who will finally return home at the end of the month after their first ever headline tour in the US, apparently got their inspiration from mobile app Fruit Ninja.
According to Now, the lads have been competing to throw pieces of fruit above their heads, then trying to slice them in mid-air.
"Don't try this at home," says Zayn Malik, 19.
"Basically, you throw the fruit in the air and cut it in half."
Sounds dangerous!
The boys met Gordon Ramsay last week - perhaps he gave them some tips on slicing and dicing!
Zayn and Louis Tomlinson, 20, plus 18-year-olds Harry Styles, Liam Payne and Niall Horan, will have plenty of time to practice their ninja moves when they embark on a UK arena tour early next year.
They're well known for their love of messing around - Niall and Liam posted a picture to Twitter on Monday of them wearing fake moustaches.
The boys protest that they can’t help but play Fruit Ninja, because their dressing rooms are always full of fruit!
"Every dressing room we go in," Liam told The Daily Record with a shrug, "seems to have a chopping board, a knife and a bowl of fruit."
