The Duchess of Cambridge has already had her 30th birthday party, and now she's turning her attention to her husband Williams, who will celebrating the milestone later this week, and Kate is planning to mark it with some very special presents and private party.
Prince William will be turning 30 on Thursday June 21, and despite the hectic Jubilee celebrations and the upcoming London Olympics, Kate's reportedly been busy planning her husband's birthday celebrations too.
Kate will be throwing a party, using some of his best friends to make sure the night comes off without a hitch.
The 30-year-old has been consulting Wills' best pal and nightclub owner Guy Pelly to try and recreate a nightclub venue in one of the royal properties.
Either Highgrove House in Gloucestershire or Kensington Palace in London is going to be used for the “private and special” party, reports Now magazine.
On top of that, Kate has put a lot of thought into his gift and she has allegedly posed for a painting by artist Nicky Phillips, which was helped organised by her father-in-law Prince Charles. It's thought that Kate could present the piece to Wills on Thursday.
She's also got a few other things in store for the birthday boy, as a source told the magazine: “Firstly, she wants to make him a scrapbook of their life together. It will include snaps of every holiday they've been on, memorabilia of special moments in their relationship and a heartfelt birthday message.”
They also added: “Not only that, she's also making him a mixtape - well, an iPod playlist - of songs that have special meaning to them.”
