Russell Brand might have wanted to divorce Katy Perry, but the comedian still cares for his ex and fears that she may be headed out of control with her hardcore partying antics, according to reports.
The 'Get Him To The Greek' star, 37, is stilling 'looking' out for his ex-wife and wants her to quit her partying ways, especially after she admitted to having vitamin shots to keep on top of her hectic schedule.
Katy, who allegedly fell over drunk at a recent party in London, has been pictured out with her rumoured beau Rob Ackroyd, the guitarist from Florence + The Machine.
Now Russell has allegedly been telling friends that he's worried. "They may not be together any more, but Russell still looks out for her," a pal told Now magazine.
"They may not be together any more, but Russell still looks out for her,” they continued. “He's concerned because he knows that Katy's partying to numb the pain of their split. It's obvious she's heading for a major crash and that really saddens Russ.”
Katy and her pal Rihanna have come under fire recently for their partying antics but Katy revealed that she needed a vitamin B shot “a few times” from a doctor to get her on top form on the stage while on The Graham Norton Show.
The 27-year-old then revealed that her latest single 'Wide Awake' is about “coming down from a high”, before saying: “Because I had too much sugar last year.”
