The Voice live tour has been cancelled due to low ticket sales which will come as a blow to the show's contestants and fans.
The show's eight finalists were set to join the live tour to perform 11 gigs across the country, kicking off in Bournemouth on September 12 before concluding.
All the finalists including winner Leanne Mitchell and runners-up Tyler James, Bo Bruce and Vince Kidd were expected to appear. Ruth Brown, Jaz Ellington, Becky Hill and Max Milner were also due to be on the line-up.
But a spokesperson said: "Unfortunately, The Voice UK Live has been cancelled due to lack of ticket sales."
"Customers are advised to contact their point of purchase for ticket refunds."
The news of The Voice cancelling tour dates has sparked mixed reaction over Twitter.
Writer Shaun Kitchener wrote: ''The Voice tour cancelled. How embarrassing.''
While former X Factor contestant Katie Weasel was clearly not a fan of the show: ''The Voice UK tour has been axed completely due to poor ticket sales. Apparently the 3 people who bought tickets will get refund.'' Ouch!
Since its launch The Voice has been hit with poor viewing figures first, averaging 10 million viewers back in April but as the series continued ratings dropped to as low as 4.5 million.
However, the BBC has said it's the most successful launch of an entertainment show on BBC One in more than 10 years.
Despite some of the judges including Jessie J all signing up for another series of the show the judges have kept quiet following the tour's axe.
Entertainmentwise has contacted all four judges' so come back for a response later today.
