Sharon Osbourne tearfully thanked well-wishers for their love and support on a live episode of US chatshow The Talk today, referring to her son Jack's recent MS diagnosis.
She struggled to speak during the live broadcast as she said that Jack, who is also a new father, is appreciative of the "texts and goodwill".
“He's doing really, really good and I want to thank everyone for all their texts and goodwill and love they send to us,” she said.
"And what I'm doing right now is not helping because I'm just feeling sorry for myself, and that is no good.
"So we just have to think positively and get on with this show that we love."
The America's Got Talent judge had also told Hello! magazine that her daughters Kelly and Aimee were struggling to accept what had happened to their brother.
"They look at Jack and they can't quite accept it. He'll always be action man, GI Joe ... they're finding it very difficult to take in. They don't want to treat him differently, that's the last thing he wants."
Earlier today Jack thanked fans for their outpour of support via Twitter.
