Cody Simpson is an animal lover, and even though his rumoured girlfriend Kylie Jenner is not a big fan of PETA, the Australian singer has decided to become a spokesperson for the animal charity.
The 15-year-old, who has a Maltese called Buddy, is set to release his new album Preview To Paradise, and has given a few tips on how to look after your pets.
In a video with his pretty pooch, he said: "It's like having another member of your family."
He then continues: "Never leave your dog in a hot car. [And] if you ever see animal abuse, please never be silent."
Cody, who is big pals with Kylie Jenner, has asked his fans to stand up for pets who might not be very well treated.
"It's a sad thing to see sometimes when people don't treat their pets right," he said.
The Kardashians famously fell out with PETA when Kim was flour-bombed on the red carpet earlier this year. The animal rights group denied involvement initially but Khloe still decided to pull out of being a rep for them.
