The London theatre scene is bracing itself for a celebrity invasion as Hollywood stars Jude Law, Daniel Radcliffe and Judi Dench sign up for a new series of plays in the Capital.

The acting heavy-weights are among the lineup announced by veteran theatre director Michael Grandage to launch his new London-based company.

The new productions will run between December 2012 and February 2014, in the West End with the possibility of transfers to New York's Broadway.

Sceen legend Dench will star in a new drama  'Peter and Alice', which is scripted by 'Skyfall' screenwriter John Logan. Then from September 7, 2013, Radcliffe will star in 'The Cripple of Irishman' by' In Bruges' writer-director Martin McDonagh.

Law will then play the title role in a new production of Shakespeare's epic 'Henry V' from November 2013. Meanwhile 'Britain's Got Talent' judge David Walliams will star in another Shakespeare classic, 'A Midsummer Night's Dream'.

Daniel previously won acclaim for his theatre roles in 'Equus' and 'How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying' whilst Jude was nominated for a prestigious Tony Award for his portryal of 'Hamlet' back in 2009.
