Cheryl Cole has revealed she'd love to take her high heels to the cobbled streets of Manchester for a cameo in Coronation Street.
The singer told The People she's a massive fan of the northern soap and would jump at the chance to play a guest role in Weatherfield. She revealed:
"I'm here for the music but if I could do a cameo in any show it would be Coronation Street."
Chezza added that she 'loves' Michelle Keegan who plays Tina McIntyre, naming her as her favourite soap star.
If producers are listening and give Cheryl a part it would be quite a departure from the singer's first foray into acting; essentially playing herself in romcom 'What to Expect When You're Expecting'. Cheryl told the paper that she would "like to do more acting. I really enjoyed it. It's a lot of fun."
Cheryl isn't the only star hankering after a Corrie cameo. Kim Kardashian recently revealed she'd been practicing her northern accent after falling in love with the soap on a recent visit to the UK.
We can so picture Kim and Cheryl strutting the streets of Weatherfield, they both love a spot of leopard print after all...
