Rumours were rife yesterday that Chris Brown had got 'bottled' by Drake and his entourage during a brawl in a New York nightclub earlier this week, but now Drake's representative has denied his involvement in the fight.
The 'Take Care' rapper was at the W.I.P. nightclub in New York on Wednesday night, where the assault took place, however his representative has issued a statement, stating that Drake was not involved in the fight.
"Drake did not participate in any wrongdoing of any kind last night at W.I.P. He was on his way out of the club when the altercation began," Drake's spokesperson has told us.
"[Drake] did not engage in any activity which resulted in injury to person or damage to property."
Chris Brown posted a pictured of his gashed face which he suggested came from a bottle in a series of furious messages on Twitter. He has now deleted the messages.
Sources have previously alleged that Drake and Chris Brown had got into a fight but left the scene before the police had arrived at the nightclub.
TMZ have spoken to sources who claimed that Chris Brown was actually involved in the brawl with Meek Mill, who was reportedly part of Drake's entourage.
