Bristol Palin, daughter of divisive politician Sarah, has spoken about her upcoming reality show Life's A Tripp.
The Dancing With The Stars finalist, who recently hit headlines for speaking out against homosexuality, says she is excited for people to see "what it's truly like for her".
She will be seen struggling with ex-fiance Levi Johnston in the series, and told Fox & Friends: "He does not use any of his visitation rights right now and you see that unfold in the show, and you see the journey that I do struggle with the custody case and with trying to get him involved in Tripp’s life and viewers are really going to get a glimpse of that in this show."
She also used the interview as an opportunity to praise her mother for her recent work.
"I think she’s doing great with what she’s doing right now," she said. "I think she’s awesome at endorsing candidates and giving her speeches. I think she’s doing very well."
Last month Bristol attacked Barack Obama for speaking out against gay marriage. He had credited his daughters' acceptance of same-sex parents for his change of stance.
"Sometimes dads should lead their family in the right ways of thinking," Bristol had written, prompting a furious backlash.
