Fans whose spidey senses are tingling for new superhero movie, 'The Amazing Spider-Man' no longer have long to wait, and Japanese fans can now see the film after it premiered in Tokyo today.
Stars and Hollywood power couple Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone attended, an anticipation for the movie is increased after the success of comic stablemates 'The Avengers'.
It is Garfield's first outing as the superhero, replacing Tobey Maguire as the titular character as Columbia Pictures attempt to reboot the franchise amid supoerhero films taking on a darker tone since christopher Nolan's Batman films revolutionised the genre.
Rhys Ifans plays the villain in the film, which alongside 'The Avengers' and 'The Dark Knight Rises', is one of a trio of impressive looking superhero blockbusters set to take the box-office by storm this summer.
