Lindsay Lohan is attempting something of a career renaissance, and despite a recent car smash putting her in hospital, the star is picking up the odd role, and after playing Liz Taylor in a biopic, she's now landed the lead in new indie flick 'The Canyons'.
However the 'Herbie: Fully Loaded' star's co-star has raised a few eyebrows, as it's none other than director of and actor in so called 'female-friendly' pornography, James Deen.
According to E! Online, the film will document four young adults quest for power and fame in Hollywood.
The actor is known for the fact that he is far removed from the stereotypical porn star, and his boyish good looks have reportedly gained him a following amongst teenage girls. Getting up close and personal with Ms Lohan could give him the chance to convince her to appear in one of his films, a coup that would shock Hollywood.
However if Lindsay keeps driving into things and fails to get her life back on track it could be one option to pay the booze bills.
