Tom Cruise was involved in a night of expletive fuelled revelry, as he collected an award which named him a movie icon.
According to The Sacramento Bee, despite 6-year-old daughter Suri being present, guest speakers including Cuba Gooding Jr, Alec Baldwin and Kevin Pollak peppered the air with less than polite language with the aim of ribbing the star as he received the Friars Club Entertainment Icon Award.
A film reel of Cruise's most famous movie moments also contained an f-words, meaning that Suri must be wondering why Daddy's using naughty language. Still, as Suri is almost a showbiz veteran herself, she probably kows that her father's job involves pretending to be a slightly different person than the clean cut actor the world has become familiar with.
For example in Cruise's latest movie 'Rock of Ages', the star plays a wanton rocker with a blatant disregard for both his own health and that of those around him.
However, as Cruise told us, if it hadn't been for his acting career the star could've gone the same way, due to attending the gigs of the bands who inspired the wild party lifestyle of his character.
