David Arquette has reportedly finally filed for divorce from estranged wife Courteney Cox... on their thirteenth wedding anniversary.
The couple tied the knot on June 12, 1999, and TMZ today claims that the actor has posted divorce papers, citing the bog-standard "irreconcilable differences" as the reason.
He has allegedly asked for joint legal and physical costody of their daughter Coco, whose eighth birthday is tomorrow (June 13).
He is representing himself in the procedings, and is not requesting spousal or child support.
The split has been completely amicable, with the former couple appearing to remain close friends. He introduced former Friends star Courteney to Twitter for the first time in the aftermath of their separation.
Interestingly, documents are said to be dated March 23, but David has hesitated to finalise them until now. Were they trying to work things out?
The pair claimed at the time of their parting that they needed to "better understand ourselves and the qualities we need in a partner and for our marriage."
