'The Hunger Games' bosses have allegedly locked on to Philip Seymour Hoffman for sequel 'Catching Fire'.
The adaptation of the second novel in Suzanne Collins' phenomenally successful series of teen novels could preportedly see the star playing Plutarch Heavensbee.
Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson are all expected to reprise their roles as Katniss Everdeen, Gale and Peeta respectively, whilst rumours surrounding Robert Pattinson joining the cast have been brushed off.
Heavensbee is the new gamemaker, recruited following the dismissal of Seneca Crane who steps into Seneca Crane (Wes Bentley).
Armie Hammer and Garrett Hedlund have also been linked to the movie for the role of Finnick Odair.
The first film in the franchise broke records when it was released in March, and in the UK it beat the box office gross of the first 'Twilight' film.
'Catching Fire' will begin shooting in Atlanta shortly.
