Cheryl Cole has been busy promoting her new solo album A Million Lights, and despite splitting with husband Ashley in 2010, the singer is still facing questions whether she's truly over it, especially with an X-rated track caled 'S**** You', which is thought to be an attack on the footballer.
The new track features Cheryl singing, “I can’t believe the **** I did for you, I don’t want you no more, I loved you so much but you never gave a ****.”
Cheryl's heartbreak was played out, and is still often featured, in the press and so it's hard not to see the link between the single and Cheryl's ex and the singer admits she can see why everyone would link the two. But the 28-year-old strongly denies that the song is about the England footballer.
“I didn't have him in mind. But I can see how it is interpreted that way, of course,” she said, according to MailOnline.
Cheryl, who is thought to have dated Derek Hough shortly after splitting from Ashley, hasn't really had a boyfriend in the last two years and has often been linked back to him.
“I am not looking for it,” Cheryl said of finding a new boyfriend. And apparently when asked how she would feel if she heard Ashley singing the same song, she said: “It would be pretty bad as he is tone deaf – he can't hit a note!”
Well, at least she can laugh about it...
