Yesterday’s episode of Big Brother saw further divisions arise amongst the housemates after new girl Becky Hannon passed her secret task – by becoming the ‘favourite’ of fellow housemate Deana Uppal.
After discovering that Becky had been given a challenge to befriend her fellow housemates, ensuring that at least one of them described her as their favourite, Deana became upset and wondered if Becky had faked the whole friendship.
The 23-year-old, who had already confessed to her fellow housemates that she had been feeling left out a few days previously, questioned Becky over the task, wanting to know if she had targeted her in particular.
The current Miss India UK burst into tears in front of her housemates, asking, “Why are you laughing?”, after Big Brother delivered news of the secret task.
Deana confessed her feelings to fellow housemate Shievonne in the garden, "It makes me feel stupid, all the times I've been spending with her in the past few days, she was on a task. I was the weak one.”
Deana continued, "I've been with her the most, I was in the Diary Room saying how good Becky was. Maybe if she didn't have a task, we wouldn't be friends."
Becky, who has now won immunity from this week’s eviction, tried to console Deana, “I promise it was everything I was against, I hated the task. It's not a fake friendship, I think you're such a lovely girl. I've been telling the Diary Room that."
Deana herself had to face a secret task upon entering the house, being forced by Big Brother to nominate three housemates after less than two hours – leading to the eviction of Victoria Eisermann, 41.
