The producer of the movie that introduced Miley Cyrus to Liam Hemsworth has claimed credit for their engagement.
'The Last Song' honcho Adam Shankman, who has directed the new 'Rock Of Ages' movie, joked that they would never have even met if it wasn't for him.
He is quoted by E! Online as saying: "I sort of want a finder's fee for Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth…I remember that first day of shooting when they first kissed and Miley walked by my sister [Jennifer Gibgot] after they shot the kissing scene, [and] goes, 'This is gonna work'."
Why does he think they are so good for each-other?
"I'll tell you what's so great. That thing about opposites attract…Their fundamental core values are the same, but he's really mellow and she's really hyper. So it really works together."
Shankman is not worried about their forthcoming marital union, calling it "extraordinary", but he does have one very justified concern about their future.
"I'm scared at how beautiful those children are going to be," he said.
Fair point.
Miley shows off the rock!
