It takes time to get to the top - but chart topping singer Rita Ora recently revealed that she thought she'd achieve fame as soon as she left school.

The star, who attended the prestigious Sylvia Young Performing Arts school recently told More! magazine "When I left Sylvia's at 16, I thought I'd be famous a week later.

"I got slayed...I got really confused and thought I'd messed up. When you don't know yourself you think everyone else is right. So you cry."

However, being ambitious definitely paid off. Rita recently did a stint as a judge on the X Factor and is in the frame to return to the show.

However, she might clash with some of the other judges - Rita was rebellious during her time at the school.

"I was cheeky. I hated wearing a hairnet. Sylvia would come into ballet class and catch me without one. 'Rita, there are some rules. This is a serious matter', she'd say...

"I was never rude. I just wasn't great at listening."
