To celebrate her 37th birthday earlier this week, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt treated their friends to a curry in Richmond, for £3000.
The Hollywood couple, who have relocated to the area while Angelina shoots her latest movie 'Maleficent', popped along to their local – completely unannounced and enjoyed a meal costing over £2,000.
And to top it off, the couple gave a generous tip of £733.75 after the restaurant looked after their five friends, and two bodyguards.
"They couldn't believe it when Brad and Angelina Jolie walked in - they'd been given no prior warning," a source told The Sun. "There were five friends and two of their bodyguards there and they ordered a mountain of food and alcohol. It might seem hard to believe that they ran up a bill of nearly £3,000 at a normal curry house but they are really generous and extravagant."
It wasn't the food that was so expensive, but the alcohol and champagne that added to the couples' bill. Angelina and Brad may have had a good time, but they were not up for having their picture taken.
"They said that they were just relaxing and would do one next time they came in," the insider explained. The restaurant, reportedly called Mogul, is a firm favourite for the couple, who have had takeaways from there before, as did Russell Crowe while he was filming 'Robin Hood'.
