Marvel have put an end to rumours that the Black Panther - the first black comic-book superhero - would be the star of their next big screen adaptation.
Following the incredible success of Marvel Avengers Assemble, which has now taken $1.3 billion worldwide making it the third most succesful film of all time, fans have been debating over which of Marvel's roster of superheroes will be the next to get their own movie franchise.
Geeky fans across the internet have been speculating that the Black Panther is the most likely candidate, after spotting references to the comics in both Iron Man 2 and Captain America: The First Avenger.
The character made a big splash when Stan Lee, the legend behind Spider Man, Iron Man and Hulk, introduced him in 1966 - because he was the first ever black superhero.
However, Marvel have denied the rumours, tellling E! that there are currently no plans to make a Black Panther film.
Looks like we'll have to make do with these lovely chaps for now!
