Despite the Kate-effect in no danger of being overshadowed, other royals managed to twinkle during the Diamond Jubilee celebrations with their demure fashion choices too, you know.
Sister of the Duchess of Cambridge, Pippa Middleton, looked divine for the river Thames pageant on Sunday when she stepped out in a suitably nautical styled navy and white suit by Orla Kiley. P-Middy's chic jacket and skirt suit fitted the occasion perfectly and didn't shout 'look at me!' like Kate's red hot ensemble by Alexander McQueen.
Princess' Beatrice and Eugenie also put the crazy fascinators to rest this weekend when they stepped out looking rather ladylike and classy at the Queen's Jubilee service at St Pauls. And although Kate Middleton managed to outshine everyone in her stunning blush pink lace McQueen dress, the royal sisters still managed to look demure.
Princess Beatrice wore a blue and white striped jacket over her dress teamed with a humble matching hat with net detailing and gold clutch, whilst younger silbing Eugenie wore a violet satin frock paired with a lilac hat. Not bad, ladies.
And Camilla Parker Bowles didn't do too badly in the fashion stakes either. We particularly admired her chic looks over the weekend, especially her silver metallic patterned jacket she wore to accompany Her Majesty in the carriage procession through London, paired with a rather grand nude hat. Showstopping, Camilla. Really...
But who looked better than the true fashion icon herself, Queen Elizabeth? The Queen is a style queen in her own right and has inspired many women with her way of classic dressing over the years – and she even followed this summer's pastel trend when she stepped out in a lovely mint green suit and matching hat to attend her St Pauls ceremony on Monday. Gorgeous!
