It looks as though the Spice Girls have lost their spice as former scary spice Mel B was booed at the X Factor auditions in Manchester, just weeks after her former band mate Geri Halliwell was booed in Liverpool.
The star, who is already a judge on the X Factor in Australia, failed to make a good impression with the audience when she received boos after insulting an 81 year-old hopeful.
According to Digital Spy, the hopeful walked onto the stage and put his feelings out for Tulisa Contostavlos saying that he was "available" for her. After his audition, Tulisa could be heard saying that his performance "pulled at my heart strings".
However, Mel made sure Lou knew she didn't feel the same way as Tulisa, by telling him:
"I wanted to fall asleep".
Despite Mel's critical words, the star showed her softer side when she comforted a hopeful who got upset during her audition.
Mel is the latest celebrity to sit as a guest judge on the panel as the show's bosses try to decide who they want to permanently replace Kelly Rowland.
