Kristen Stewart has insisted that the love she shares with Robert Pattinson in the ‘Twilight Saga’ is the real deal.
The actress hit out at those who were quick to dismiss their feelings as “puppy love” just because she played a teenager.
Kristen makes it pretty clear that the she believes in true love at a young age, which doesn’t really surprise us because she fell in love with her co-star and on screen lover Rob during the filming of ‘Twilight’.
Despite her moody persona the star is clearly an old romantic as she defends love.
“I don’t like it when people dismiss Twilight as puppy love or Snow White as a fairytale,” she told The Irish Times.
“Why should something be a less valuable depiction of the human condition because it’s about a 17-year-old girl?“
“Why should something be less credible as a story because it’s about a princess? I don’t think of those parts as lesser parts.”

The 22 year-old also opened up about the guilt she felt about being the object of Edward Cullen's desire in the vampire saga and said sorry to the hoards of females fans who reckon they should be with the sexy vamp.
