Robert Pattinson may be one of the sexiest stars on the planet but the ‘Cosmopolis’ actor claims his biggest problem is his “lack of confidence”.
The 26 year-old is known for being shy but the actor has confessed that his confidence is so low that he thinks it impacts on his life and career and is trying everything to improve it.
“I’m taking baby steps and hoping people keep employing me,” he confessed to Empire Magazine.
“That’s my biggest problem, confidence.”
His self-confidence is so low that he intentionally avoids action based roles as he doesn’t think he is “buff” enough to play a rippling hunk.
“I’m not buff enough for robot movies,” he admitted though he wouldn't mind playing the sexiest spy of all, James Bond.
While he isn't too sure about action flicks, Pattinson is proud at the confidence he had to take the lead role in David Cronenberg’s latest movie ‘Cosmopolis’ and reckons it will shock a lot of people.
“I can’t see tons of people watching Cosmopolis and screaming at it,” he added.
