Russell Brand wants to know if Charlize Theron is single because he thinks she's “amazing”.
The former husband of Katy Perry recalled a time when he met the Oscar-winning actress and he wasn't able to 'use any of (his) moves'.
Ahead of the MTV Movie Awards, which Russell is hosting this weekend (June 3) at the Gibson Amphitheatre in L.A., the British comedian revealed that he wants to spend some time with 'Snow White And The Huntsman' actress.
"Oh my God. She's amazing, isn't she? [I met her], and it was embarrassing. I messed it up bad. I met her and didn't recognise her. I was at a party, and I was looking at birds. She came over and [said] something untoward. And I showed off like an idiot, not recognising her," he told MTV.
"I thought, 'Oh no! I didn't use any of my moves!' It's a new day, it's a new dawn, it's a new life. Is she single?"
But Russell admitted that he's not a big fan of movies like 'Twilight', despite the franchise being a big hit at the awards.
"I don't watch things like [Twilight] I don't know, I don't know why I would watch it. But for the people, I like the good-looking boys," Russell explained.
"Robert Pattinson and him with the tummy [referring to Taylor's famed abs]. I met him. He was really handsome."
