In standard celebrity style, Amanda Bynes has turned to Twitter to deny the recent hit and run accusations made against her.
Oh Amanda, that's not so classy. Couldn't you have taken a leaf outta X Factor judge Tulisa's book and used YouTube to get your point across instead?
Whatever the medium, former child star Amanda Bynes turned to the world of social networking on Sunday to deny that she bumped a woman with her rented BMW way back on April 10th.
"I can't help but laugh at all of you writing fake stories about me. I was not in any hit and runs. I don't drink so the DUI is false."
Amanda definitely seems set to take up the troubled former child star torch from Lindsay Lohan, doesn't she?
The hit and run story broke on TMZ earlier this week, which claimed that the woman hit tried to keep up with the 'Hairspray' actress after the accident, but couldn't keep up with the driver.
She did, however, manage to write down the number plate of the offender and identify the vehicle as a hire car - which led to the revelation that the BMW had been rented by one Amanda Bynes.
Luckily for Amanda, the case has been dropped as there weren't any witnesses at the scene to confirm the incident.
However, she is still awaiting her court date for her DUI arrest, which is scheduled to take place June 6.
Maybe you should stick to the bus from now on, Amanda...
