Anyone who was devastated by the fact that season five of The Only Way Is Essex finished on Sunday can take some relief from the fact that they wont have to wait to long to see their favourite reem Essex reality stars again, as an airdate has been announced for their one-off Marbella special.
The summer edition of the hit Essex reality show will see all of the cast members travel to the popular Spanish holiday destination, for The Only Way Is Marbs, which will air on ITV2 on Wednesday, June 13 at 10pm.
Promoted as the “sexiest” episode ever of TOWIE, a source of the special told Digital Spy: “Those who have been chosen to go to Marbella can't wait. The girls have pledged it will [have] lots of bikinis and bare flesh on show.”
Adding: “There will be a lot of boozy partying and cameras will follow them 24/7 for a week.”
This week Entertainmentwise got the inside scoop from TOWIE cast members Cara Kilbey and Billi Mucklow, who revealed that they are already on the famed “no carbs before Marbs” diet in order to get their bikini bodies ready for the beach.
The marathon-running pair had nothing but kind words for their co-star Lauren Goodger, who has had a very public battle with her weight over the past few months.
Billi said: “I think Lauren Goodger’s body is great, I just think she got wrapped up and you lose your fashion sense. She was wearing the wrong clothes for her body, and I think she has got a great body.”
Cara added: “She has! She has changed her style now to what suits her figure, and she looks well, she looks really good.”
The Only Way Is Marbs is set to air on ITV2 on Wednesday, June 13 at 10pm.
