Kerry Katona was left red faced on Come Dine With Me after blasting EastEnders' actress Cheryl Ferguson for serving fried food, then serving up fish and chips to her guests.
The former Atomic Kitten singer was concerned after Ferguson served up a fried breakfast as her meal due to her being on a diet, but then proceeded to treat her guests to a calorific banquet herself.
Despite her own dining decision she was less than charitable to Ferguson, swearing due to the fact that she was expected to eat the breakfast despite the fact that she's undergone surgery in an ongoing battle with her weight. Horrified at what was served up to her, Katona said: “I’ve just had a tummy tuck I can’t be eating this s***.”
However that didn't stop the troubled star from ordering up ice cream for dessert when it was her turn to provide for her guests.
Despite her rudeness Katona won the show, beating Lionel Blair, Keith Harris and Ferguson to the prize.
Yet according to The Daily Star Katona can barely cook, quoting a friend as saying of Katona: “She was really stressed as she is a useless cook,” adding: “she can barely boil an egg and always lives on ready meals. So she thought she’d keep it simple and made her favourite dish, fish and chips.”
