Enjoyed Jay-Z and Kanye West's recent effort Watch The Throne? Well we have good news, the pair are planning a follow-up album.
Producer Mike Dean has confirmed that there will be a Watch the Throne 2 album from Jay-Z and Kanye West, set for release next year.
In an interview with Quite Lunch, he said: "I'm working on the G.O.O.D. Music album, of course," said Dean, "and Watch The Throne 2 – it's not started yet, but it's coming."
Dean co-produced Watch the Throne and added production to West's albums Graduation and My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.
Last year Jay-Z hinted that the pair's next album could arrive as early as the end of 2012. "We – I say 'we' because I'm in Throne mode – we're in a great place creatively," Jay told MTV News at the time.
"You might see a Jay, then Kanye, and a Throne album next year . . . We really found our zone."
Their has been mixed reaction from fans following the recent news, one user wrote on twitter: ''I love Kanye and Jay Z, but I think most of the appeal of this album is just because it's such a massive collaboration.''
While another added: ''Why do people like this album? Why did people flock to see them on tour?''
The pair hit the UK last week to kick off the European leg of their 'Watch The Throne Tour' which included five sold-out nights at London's O2.
The audience was filled with a number of famous faces including West's current squeeze Kim Kardashian and her brother Rob!
