Alex Reid has blasted the media for their "manipulation" of his relationship with Chantelle Houghton... speaking on the false assumption that many of us are particularly bothered.
The cage fighter, actor and recent popstar has his personal life splattered over gossip magazines on a weekly basis, most of the time through interviews, photo shoots and Chantelle's shamelessly open magazine column, in which she recently admitted the couple were having trouble.
Speaking on Loose Women today, Alex said: "There’s a lot of crap out there at the moment and a lot of media manipulation.
"We actually both feel like they’re trying to split us up almost, because drama sells. We’re a normal couple and we row, just so happens we’re in the papers."
He also defended his regular outbursts on Twitter, saying: "I’m a very protective man over my fiancé and my baby."
Alex was dropping by to promote his debut single 'Stardust', which was launched online last week but then rapidly removed after receiving an overwhelmingly negative reaction.
