Cheryl could be in with a chance of getting her own back on Mr Cowell as she’s reportedly been offered a place on X Factor rival American Idol.
The New York Post claimed the star was approached by executives from Frenmantle and 19 Entertainment on Monday to offer her a place on the show.
X Factor judge and producer Simon Cowell notoriously dropped Cheryl off the X Factor USA last year. Now the tables will be turned as she could potentially be replacing in for Jennifer Lopez who has hinted she wants to leave the show.
‘The Dance Again’ star, has been rumoured to be leaving the show as she’s mentioned to US chat show host Ellen DeGeneres Show that she’s unsure of doing it for a third year.
"Now this is my second year - I don't know if I can go for a third year. I miss doing other things," she confessed.
"It really does lock you down, which was nice the first year with the babies being three, but now they're getting more mobile, they're about to go into school ... so I just don't know."
Even if J Lo doesn’t leave the show there is till the possibility that Chezza could sit alongside her on the judging panel. What do you think? Would Cheryl make a good American Idol judge?
