Brad Pitt has insisted that he has not set a date with Angelina Jolie to get married, despite reports suggesting that the couple will tie the knot in August.
The 'Moneyball' actor, who walked the red carpet in Cannes earlier today, brushed off rumours of a summer wedding in France for which he is reported to have splashed out £10 million already.
During a press conference for 'Killing Them Softly' in Cannes earlier, he said: “We have no date. We actually really, truly, have no date.”
According to the Evening Standard, Brad was also asked if Angelina would be making appearance ahead of the movie's premiere tonight and he said: “She’s prepping for a movie that starts soon.”
Brad, who proposed to Angelina last year with a huge diamond ring that he designed himself, was rumoured to have offered bonuses to staff working on the couple's French chateau ahead of the 'summer wedding'.
"Brad's spent over £10 million already," a source told Grazia. "Now he's offering hefty bonuses to workers to complete it by summer. He's even trying to organise an aeroplane landing site in the grounds for guests to come in by private jet - but that's proving rather tricky, what with permits and no-fly zones."
Brad hits Cannes in true fashion... or not...
