It looks as though we could be seeing Jessie J, will.i.am, Danny O'Donoghue and Tom Jones back on The Voice next year following BBC One controller Danny Cohen's admission that he would like the four coaches to return.
Having suffered a dip in ratings since the show launched in March, reports have suggested that changes will be made when the show returns next year, including the future of the judges. However it appears as though the reports have turned out to be false.
Talking to the Radio Times about the coaches, Danny revealed that he would like to see all the coaches return for the second series of the show.
He said: "I hope so. God, yeah. I'd love all our judges to come back. I love them in multiple ways."
The BBC One controller also defended the coaches' comments to the contestants as many believe they have been too nice when giving feedback.
"It's one of the great aspects of the show, that tonal quality, which we are very keen to maintain", Danny explained. "I think the emphasis on constructive criticism is one of the fresh and exciting things about it."
Revealing that the show will not feature too many changes, Danny added:
"We'll look at the end of the series but I think we're in a good place and I don't imagine mega-changes."
