Jermain Defoe appeared to put his split from Alexandra Burke firmly behind him last night, as he partied at a Cyndi Lauper concert in Cannes.
The footballer was allegedly dumped by the 'Let It Go' popstar after claims emerged that he had cheated on her with Kirsty Crummey, allegations he later denied on Twitter.
Last night's event was also attended by Bridesmaids star Chris O'Dowd and his fiancee Dawn Porter, Bonnie Wright, and Tamara and Petra Ecclestone.
Lauper followed in the footsteps of Debbie Harry, Grace Jones and Duran Duran by entertaining revelers with her biggest hits in association with Belvedere Vodka, using the celebrity-studded event as a global call-to-action to support programs that help eliminate HIV/AIDS in Africa.
She said: "I fully support the collaboration between Belvedere Vodka and (RED) to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS in Africa in their fight to save lives.
"If I can encourage everyone to show their support and help achieve the first AIDS-free generation by 2015, then I’ve done more than I could ever have dreamed. The fight against HIV/AIDS starts with you: please buy (RED)!"
