It’s surprising that once upon a time young Kerry Katona was struggling with the same demons as Amy Winehouse, and now it’s all turned around for former Atomic Kitten star as she opens up her own rehab centre to help those battle the same fight she went through.
In a recent interview Miss Katona revealed she thought she would be dead before the late ‘Back to Black’ singer Amy Winehouse. Speaking on Radio Five Live the 31-year-old Kerry spoke about how she felt her drug habit would take her life at a young age.
She admitted how she got “lost in life”. So on the route to recover she turned to bootcamp: “I went to boot camp and the first time I turned up there as high as a kite.”
The mother-of-four felt taking part in the bootcamp sessions to turn her life around, “Silly as this sounds, exercise changed my life. It was the first time I had a natural high.”
Kerry now wants those are in the situation she found herself in years ago to have the same opportunity to attend a boot camped style rehabilitation centre.
The reality star recently moved in with boyfriend Steve Alce, and recently sparked fears that she was enjoying her painkillers following her liposuction procedure - a little too much.
“Right now I'm high as a kite on painkillers because I'm recovering from a tummy tuck,” she said.
