Ryan Seacrest has bought Ellen DeGeneres' Beverly Hills mansion for $40 million, paying close to the asking price of $49 million.
The American Idol host fell in love with the show's former judge's home and has splashed out on the new love nest for himself and fiance Julianna Hough, which features nine-bedrooms, a main mansion as well as two guesthouses and another three-bedroom home.
Also in the compound is a large swimming pool and pond.
Ellen bought the home in 2007 from the Will & Grace co-creator Max Mutchnick. It's thought that while Ryan was said to have paid close to the asking price, according to The Hollywood Reporter, a source close to the sale have told the publication that the sale is actually far less than was initially reported.
