Eminem's new boxing movie 'Southpaw' has been put on hold for the time being, so that the rapper can concentrate on his music, according to The Detroit Free Press reports.
Eminem's spokesman revealed: "While he’s in that space, he wanted to put this on hold for the time being"
Before adding: "When the film does get made, the plan is that the bulk of it will be shot in Michigan. That was always the understanding."
Southpaw is a film about a welterweight boxer who's trying to get his life and career back on track and the film applied for $8.9 million in Michigan film incentives earlier this year, but organizers withdrew their application due to 'talent issues'.
It would see Eminem play his first acting role since his debut hit in 8 Mile, back in 2002.
Meanwhile, rockers 30 Seconds To Mars have revealed that they would love to collaborate with Eminem on a future track. The band are currently working on their fourth studio album and would love Eminem to be a part of it. Watch this space...
