Andrew Garfield is set to take on one of the most iconic superhero roles ever when The Amazing Spider-Man hits our screens later this year.
So what happens when former Spider-Man Tobey Maguire interviews the brand new webbed wonder?
That's what VMan magazine has tried to find out after they allowed just that to happen!
Tobey Maguire was allowed to take on the role of interviewer as he quizzed The Amazing Spider-Man star Andrew Garfield about taking over the role.
And he got some very interesting responses from Emma Stone's on and off-screen boyfriend...
Maguire definitely put Garfield through the ringer, asking him everything from how difficult the audition process was (very!) to how he became the character.
We were most intrigued by the response he received when he asked Garfeld whether he respected the character he was attempting to portray:
"I just feel such a great responsibility to the story and to the fans, because I know in my heart how much this character means to people, because it means that much to me... Peter Parker is such a positive character—he's pure wish fulfillment, an underdog."
Good response Garfield!
