For those Stone Roses' fans who will be digging out your 90s Adidas jackets and raving on at Heaton Park this summer all is not lost!!

The Stone Roses' rep has denied reports that drummer Alan 'Reni' Wren might be too ill to play the band's upcoming comeback shows.

Rumours emerged last week when Dodgy drummer Mathew Priest told XFM radio that he had heard Reni was unwell and that the band had been "rehearsing with another drummer."

However a spokesperson has since dismissed the idea and insisted Reni will be part of the big reunion, saying:

"The Stone Roses are currently rehearsing for their forthcoming dates.

"All four members can't wait to play the shows."

The reformed indie legends will be supported by Primal Scream on 29 June, Beady Eye on 30 June, Plan B on 1 July.

The Wailers are additional support at every show, while The Vaccines and Professor Green will also join the line-up.

Gigs Set To Rock 2012

The 90’s rockers postponed their tour that was supposed to go ahead last summer – but, UK fans don’t fret as the boys will be back on tour this summer! Supported by The All-American Rejects as well, the fans are definitely in for a treat…
